Grade 12A students recently carried out a practical Chemistry experiment to determine the pH of different liquids using juice extracted from Red cabbage as a natural indicator.

The experiment involved extracting red cabbage juice and adding it to various liquid samples to observe color changes. Different colors produced in each solution helped students identify whether the liquids were acidic or basic, as well as determine the strength of their pH levels.

This practical activity provided students with an opportunity to apply classroom theory in a laboratory setting and develop their scientific observation skills.

The experiment was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Eso, Head of Science Department, as part of ongoing practical learning for Grade 12 Science.
